Sunset – at our new place in Melbourne!

Hi everyone

Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. We have been moving house! After 13 years in the same unit, the time came that we should move on to bigger and better things.

This is a sunset view from our New balcony! If everyone said that our last balcony was the ‘balcony that never disappoints’ What will everyone say about our New balcony!

We overlook Albert Park Lake and cannot wait until the Australian Grand Prix comes to town next year! Maybe Miss Food Fairy can do the catering!

We have been here for 2 weeks today and we’re just loving it! It’s a brand new apartment with all brand new Smeg appliances – oven, cooktop and dishwasher! Miss Food Fairy is just loving cooking so much more now – I have never had new appliances before and I’m looking forward to baking cakes in my new oven! Watch out desserts, here comes Miss Food Fairy!!

Last night, for the first time ever in my cooking life, my roast chicken had the crispiest skin, the baked potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the roast carrots weren’t soggy! I am in heaven!! So exciting!
