For the past couple of months, I’ve baked quite a few banana cakes. What I’ve really been looking for is a super moist banana bread. And if you know me by now, I’m not a baker by any stretch of the imagination. I like the easy, prepare ahead of time desserts that try not to involve too much baking. In fact, I don’t bake at all! It’s not my strongest point in the kitchen. But, I will not give up on finding that banana bread that makes me want to bake it every time my bananas get to their expiry date before ending up in the rubbish (I don’t like wasting food!)
Organising this banana bread event has been on my mind for quite some time – Pinterest and surfing the web can only give you so much inspiration, which is why I need your help. I’d love you, my beautiful friends, to help me find that super moist, super delicious banana bread. All you need to do is add your recipe link or a link that you find to be the best banana bread, below in the comments. If you have a recipe but no blog, that’s ok too, you can send me an email at foodfairywishes[at]gmail[dot]com with a photo and recipe & I’ll add it into a roundup post. Don’t forget to link your recipe back here to this story.
I’m very excited to see all the recipes you bring to this event. My love of banana bread has gotten the better of me where I’m eager to find that perfect bread for my breakfast with a slather of butter or enjoy with a drizzle of honey for afternoon tea. With bananas being in season all year round and readily available all over the world, I know I’m not the only one who has over-ripe, uneaten bananas ready for a cake batter. And I promise to get through as many banana bread recipes as I can.
I will be leaving this event open until the end of the month (July 31st 2016). Thank you for your participation 🙂
